  172. Dr.Peter Bakonyi  has been  the driving  force behind  the Information
  173. Infrastructure project of Hungary, started in the mid eighties. In the
  174. framework   of   this  project  the   first   computer   communication
  175. infrastructure  for Hungary was developed.  Peter  Bakonyi  played  an
  176. important role  in the opening and in the integration  to the  western
  177. networking  infrastructure  and organizations.  He  is  a  manager who
  178. understand the needs of changes in a changing world.  Peter Bakonyi is
  179. vice-president  of the  Hungarnet, the Hungarian  national  networking
  180. organisation.  He played  an  important role  in  the  success  of the
  181. Central and East European session of the INET'92 conference in Kobe.
